Character: Rikku Kuiki
Series: Final Fantasy X-2
Age: 17
Class: Middle Level
Character Type: Mechanic and a bounty hunter on the side.
Background: Rikku is the daughter of Cid, sister of Brother and a cousin of Yuna. Rikku never mentions her mother very much due to the fact that he mother was killed in an unspecified mechanical accident sometime after Rikku's birth. Rikku had always wanted more than one sibling but was unable to since her mother died and has resolved to marry and have plenty children when she's older so that her children never feel alone.
When Rikku was a young child, she had always been interested in mechanics although her father and brother had always said she was to young to fiddle with the machines. She figured if she begged enough, they might let her help. However, her brother made the mistake of handing her an electrical cord and she was electrocuted. The end result was a severe case of astraphobia(Fear of thunder and lightening). Her family is now constantly poking fun at her because of it.
Rikku's family owns a small garage on the middle level by the name of 'Gullwings Garage'. They live a comfortable life in their apartment above the garage and now that Rikku is older, she is constantly down in there and so, as a joke, her brother got her a name tag with the words 'Grease Monkey' on it. Little did he know, Rikku was delighted with the small knick name. Besides the garage, her family also dabbles in bounty hunting. Her father manages the calls, Brother provides the transportation and Rikku finishes the job off. Her lithe yet small build and energetic disposition make her ideal for the job.
